We Can Get Involve

Dear editors around the world, I'm a student from Springfield International School, and I am to proof that we, young Indonesian students, can help the hunger problems around the world.
In Indonesia, many people on the streets or sidewalks are beggars waiting for food and just believing on their one and only thing they own, their faith. In Jakarta alone, there are about  four thousand people living  in prosperity  and hunger. I can see that and I have sympathy on them.    I  , too,can underst and the  situation in the other side of the world, especially in Ethiopia. Although fortunately the problom decreased throughout these years, but won't you think it will happen again, or even worse, in your own country?
I've thought about it since the last few days, there was a big flood that dives through the whole big city of Jakarta. people who were poor built illegal wooden houses on the riversides had crushed down into pieces , they then lost everything they had. Also, because of the sudden flood, water burst through an underground basemesnt where people are to get their cars, they are stuck in there. Guess what happened next, survive? don't even think about it, most of them died due to e
electric shocks and drowning.
Anyway, we , both rich and poor, Indonesians have experience every sort of difficulties. So we Understand and we can help .
To you Indonesians, if you want to help, start by donating every sort of things you wont use but still helpful for those who needs it. donate money, a little is not a problem at all. Imagine if each onof us donate just a single dollar, together we can collect millions. see how small things can help.

The Peace Symbol

Have you ever wonder why the peace symbol was created that way ?
I've been doing researches and eventually find the answer behind it...

The peace symbol combines a circle, a vertical line, and downward sloping lines.
The Teach Peace Foundation Logo is not a traditional peace symbol but people around the world holding hands.
The code letters for ND.'” The code ND for Nuclear Disarmament  The circle, representing the concept of total or complete, surrounds the N and D signifying total or complete nuclear disarmament.
