The sun was just too bright and overwhelming. Everything was
just dry, the wet ground that it used to be turns to cracked thick gravel in
the middle of desserts. Just imagine that place, where everything was just
yellow, and the huts are just useless.
Brupp… It aches
as the stomach grumbles. His mouth is alarming for food, or at least something
to chew. His throats are just soaked as if a sponge being twisted – yes, that
soak. It’s just so dry that perhaps dying is so much better. His lips were dry
and merely cracked as the ground, or should I say, the dessert?
Very hopelessly,
he decided to get up. Powerless, his legs shaken and it hurts somehow. He stood
up unstably and in the middle of straw huts, on top of hot sand, everyone was
just lying there, the way he did before. The scorching sun bewitched him, his burning skin is not a pain compared to his
growling stomach.
He walked a few
steps ahead, just wandering around because he feels like doing so. His skinny
dark brown legs supported him and suddenly, just unexpectedly, he fell. He fell
onto his knees a he no longer feels his legs. With every last bit of strength
he had left, he stretches his arms out and to the ground, he lifted his body
and slowly gets up . Crippled-like, walking in an odd sort of way that when you
sees him, you’ll definitely drag him to the hospital right away.
The sun starts to
set down but still very bright. He
walked so far away from the village, not deciding to run away or anything, but
just walk. He needn’t care a lot whether he’ll die or not, faint or not, or
what-so-ever because he’d just walk straight and care about nothing. ‘ I’ll go
back when I feel like it…’ he’d thought. Everything was jus dusty and trees are
just hopeless twigs, since they’re all dried up anyways. He lifted up his head
and saw a man, across the horizon. The man was indeed tall and had
astonishingly golden hair( though Tiki never saw such a man). His eyes twinkled
at the very tall man’s hair. The man came closer and each step the man take,
Tiki’s heart thumped harder and louder.
Not knowing what will happen, he backed off and visions started to blurred, and
he felt nothing.
There was a bright
white light brightening his eyes; it was just so bright that he thought would
blind him, so he looked away. He got up and look around and realized he was all
alone in a puny square room. He saw the door and ran to it. Tough it seemed
just a stretch away, he never reached the door no matter how fast he run. Then he stretches his arms out to reach the door and actually reached it. He twisted the door knot and realized it was locked. He started panicking and planed to scream and bang the door or something but he had no energy , even to sit up. So he leaned to the door and to the floor. He slowly close his eyes and opened them again , he knew it is not the time for rest.
The door clanked open, a man in black appeared out of nowhere. His grinning white teeth is the only to be seen. The light blacked out and he appeared to see a gun pointing right to his head. His body shaken as flashbacks of shooting guns appeared through his memory from the movie he saw very long ago. Then he herd someone calling his names in several different voices that it straighten and through process, the voice became the same. His name went all around his head.
He now can see light, it seemed more fresh and less narrow until he realized it was all a dream. He woke up on a backseat with the blond man he saw before he fainted, with two other unfamiliar faces in the front seat. They're quiet nice and even offer him food that he jobbled up in one go. he kept on eating and the car move towards his village. Until they reach there, two men in the front seat jump out of the car and give out boxes of food and medicines. 'It's gift from heaven..' he'd thought. for everything, he was just glad...
